BAHASA INGRIS : CONDITIONAL SENTENCE DAN CONTOH KALIAMAT

Kalimat pengandaian yang di tandai oleh if ini dibagi menjadi tiga tipe. Secara umum, rumusnya adalah sebagai berikut:

Type one        : If V1                        +          will V1

Type two        : If V2                       +          would V2

Type three     : If had V3                +          would have V3

Contoh:

Type one

• If I get money, I will drink orange juice/ If she gets money, she will drink orange juice 
• I will drink orange juice if I get money
• If I study hard, I will be smart 
• If I am a doctor, I will take care my patients well
• If I don’t eat breakfast, I will get hungry during the class

Type two

• If I got money, I would drink orange juice 
• I would drink orange juice if I got money 
• If I studied hard, I would be smart 
• If I was a doctor, I would take care my patients well
•  If I did not eat brekfast, I would get hungry during the class

Type three

• If I had gotten money, I would have drunk orang juice
•  I would have drunk orang juice if I had gotten money 
• If I studied hard, I would have been smart 
• If I had been a doctor, I would have taken care my patients well 
• If I had not eaten breakfast, I would have gotten hungry during the class
