BAHASA INGGRIS : PREFERENCE

Dalam menyatakan lebih tertarik kepada sesuatu kita dapat menggunakan prefer---to, like---better than dan would like/would rather---than. Kalimat tersebut harus disusun berdasarkan pasangannya.

Contoh:

·         I prefer apple to orange

·         I prefer reading novel to playing game

·         I like apple better than orange

·         I like reading novel better than playing game

·         I would rather read a novel than play game

·         I’d rather read a novel than play game

PAIRED CONJUNCTION

Ada beberapa kata sambung yang berpasangan. Kata-kata ini biasanya selau muncul bersama.

Contoh:

·         The project will need both time and money

·         Yesterday is not only rained but also snower

·         I will take either the t-shirt or the jucket tomorrow

·         The book is nether interesting nor accurate
